The Air 9 RDO features fully-housed internal cable routing, new carbon layup, smaller junctions, tapered headtube, a PF30 carbon bottom bracket shell and 12x148mm rear spacing. Niner decided to go with a boost rear end because it reduces any twisting motion and allows for the use of wider/stronger built wheels.
