The Intense Sniper XC Expert 29″ Bike is a downhill inspired XC bike that has a more aggressive geometry than traditional XC race rigs. The Sniper XC has a lightweight unidirectional carbon frame that has internal cable routing, titanium hardware, and 100mm of travel on the front and rear.
The Expert version of the Sniper XC comes with a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. With SRAM’s Eagle drivetrains, you’ll get a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-50-tooth gear range that makes climbing much easier and riding in rough terrain a breeze. Shimano M500 hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. The Intense Recon dropper post lets you quickly lift and lower your saddle without the need to dismount your bike so you can climb with a full leg extension and descend with a lower center of gravity. Stan’s Crest Alloy wheels are paired with Maxxis Rekon tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Fox Performance suspension, you’ll have an exceptionally smooth ride everywhere you go.
