The Rocky Mountain Instinct Carbon 70 Bike has a combination of fast-rolling 29″ wheels, modern trail geometry, and a RIDE-9 Adjustment System so you can quickly change the geometry of your bike depending on the terrain you’re riding on. The Instinct features a Smoothwall Carbon frame that has internal cable routing.

The Carbon 70 version of the Rocky Mountain Instinct comes with a Shimano XT 1×12-speed drivetrain that includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-51T gear range that makes climbing and riding in rough terrain a breeze. Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes provide superior stopping power so you can descend with confidence and control. Race Face AR 30 rims are paired with Maxxis Minion DHR tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Race Fact Turbine R dropper post, you’ll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle without dismounting for efficiently climbing and safer descending.
